*Love Bomb* is about a manipulation tactic often used in abusive relationships. Love bombing is when someone overwhelms you with affection, gifts, or grand gestures in order to regain your trust and pull you back into the relationship.
It’s part of a cycle that many people recognize — the apology, the promises, the temporary kindness that feels like things might finally change. But too often it fades quickly, and the same harmful patterns return.
This song is for anyone who has experienced that cycle and hoped it would be different the next time.
At its core, Love Bomb is about recognizing what’s happening and realizing you have the power to stop the cycle by refusing to accept it anymore.
I also chose to use explicit language in this song. The message called for a blunt, take-no-prisoners tone, and sometimes the only way to capture that kind of clarity and anger is to say it exactly the way it feels.
