Make Me Bleed is about taking your power back.

There may have been a time when someone else had control — when their expectations, their opinions, or their manipulation shaped how you saw yourself. But this song is about the moment you decide that chapter is over.

It’s about realizing that no one gets to define your worth or your identity anymore.

One of my favorite lines I’ve ever written appears in this song: “Not a plaything in a g-string.” It captures the message perfectly. There’s nothing wrong with being confident or sexy, but that doesn’t mean you exist for someone else’s control or amusement.

Make Me Bleed is about drawing that line and owning who you are on your own terms.
